Some Food Thought....

Over the years I have participated in over twenty art competitions. There we’re some judges who thought that artwork was different and well thought out by my creativity. Some judges who thought that my choices of mediums, colors, values and themes we’re the best. Then I have encountered judges who did not like my ideas or choice of mediums that I invested into my designs. These judges we’re either sincere or harsh with their criticism towards my work…I ate their words……..I digest it…..Over the years I have notice some improvements in my artwork but it does mean that I am the greatest…I am the best…well I am not and as an artist you learn from other other artists from the past present and future…great artists like Caravaggio, Renoir, Jack Kirby, McFarlane and many others…The point I am trying to make is that there are people who are out there would love your work but there are some that would take interest in other artists work as well as yours….

I have always been an open-minded person when comes to collaborating with other artists…Sharing ideas and tricks when it comes to creating beautiful pieces of art…. I don’t get jealous because someone is more better at drawing faces or landscapes and other shit…..As a artist you cannot stick to one medium….you have to experiment with other mediums…that’s how you find your niche….That’s how your sell art! Sell yourself! If you want to make it in this world as an artist you have to stop taking in people’s criticism to heart. If you want to become a great entrepreneur at your craft do not slander the first client who has worked with you patiently throughout a difficult project and that has promised you your funds and delivered them to you…..If they do not like what you have created for them….move on and go on to the next client….then the next and so on and so forth…

Poor Poor Suga....

Out of Commission

I have been sick on and off for the past two and half weeks due to a bacterial infection caused by an impacted wisdom tooth. A couple of years ago I went to this dentist at union hall during the time when I was working for the United Parcel Service. He took a portion of the impacted wisdom tooth out which he should of have taken out completely. By leaving that piece of tooth inside underneath my gums it was ticking time bomb waiting to go off.

When I went to UIC medical center this Monday they performed a panoramic x- ray of my jaw. On the x-ray it showed how the infection spread and believe it or not I went to UIC Medical Center back in 2008 and they compared a pervious x-ray of my jaw. In the 2008 x-ray it showed how the infection was growing slowly. They immediately performed outpatient surgery…pretty much they had to make a small incision underneath my skin to insert a tube to drain all the fluid and puss that was caused by the infection.

I am doing much better now but…I have to prepare myself for oral surgery within next couple of days to remove that evil piece of tooth… I will keep everyone posted…

Things That You Should Not Do When You Are Sick?

When I was sick I found some comfort in playing videogames but also notice that I could not play certain games due either the complex graphics or high resolution colors…for example GTA: San Andreas made me sick to my stomach when I played it and I had to put the game down. But when I played games like Pac-Man or some of the Namco Museum games it was little less stress on my brain as well as comfortable…

One more thing never listen to Lady Gaga when you’re sick….
